박막 전극, 전해질 및 패시베이션 층

나노구조화 3D 리튬 이온 배터리에 리튬 기반 원자층 증착(ALD: Atomic Layer Deposition) 필름을 구현함으로써, 전력 밀도, 충전/방전 동안의 사이클 성능 및 안전성의 상당한 이득이 최근에 보고되었습니다.

Veeco CNT 원자층 증착(ALD: Atomic Layer Deposition) 플랫폼을 사용하여, LicoO2, Limn2O4 삼차 또는 리튬 전이금속 인산(예를 들어, LifePO4)과 같이 높은 비용량을 가지는 전기화학적 활성 물질은 높은 종횡비 3D 나노구조에 성공적으로 증착하여 고속 이온 운반을 유도하고 전력 밀도를 증가시켰습니다.

조절 가능한 높은 이온 전도성을 달성하기 위해 고체 상태 전해질(예: 리튬 인산염[8], 리튬 탄탈레이트[12] 또는 LipON[2])이 Savannah® 및 Fiji® 플랫폼에 모두 증착되었습니다.

산화 알루미늄(Al2O3)(< 1nm)과 같은 매우 얇은 패시베이션층은 또한 전이금속의 용해를 억제하면서 패시베이션층을 통해 리튬 이온의 확산을 가능하게 하여, 전기화학적 순환 동안에 LIB의 용량 보존을 상당히 향상시키는 것으로 증명되었습니다.[15] 최근 Xiao 등은 전기화학적 활성 FePO4 코팅을 사용하여 Lini0,5Mn1.5O4 음극 재료의 성능 층을 최적화했습니다[6].
